I joined Nxtview in 2016 as Head of innovation. I joined the company to implement an ERP and standardize the internal processes of the entire company so that they could scale since everything was carried out in Excel and each business unit had a different process and methodology. We started by understanding all the areas of the company and the processes that each of the areas carried out to see where it could be optimized and standardized. Today they continue to use the same ERP that we implemented. That’s when I knew my passion was understanding and simplifying processes. In 2017 I co-founded Bocav with Guillermo, my brother. We had realized how many over-indebted people there were in the companies we worked at, and we decided to start the company to offer cheaper financing to private sector employees through payroll credit. Our focus was to restructure credit cards or other payroll credits. We raised USD 800K in debt. In 2019 we pivoted from payroll credit to salary on demand due to the difficulty of scaling the business since it is not a product that is widely accepted by large companies due to the abuses that have taken place. We developed the technology and began to work with many large companies in Mexico. In 2021, we realized that our experience and in-house developed technology was a perfect match with Jaime's experience in trucking and logistics to aim at the much bigger opportunity of building the financial infrastructure for truckers in LatAm.
